When creating the logo for the event, I wanted something different from the previous years. In the past logos have been very sleek and minimal. While I also love those looks, I wanted to change them up; so for my logo, I went with the idea of patches. Since this event encompasses everyone from the graduating year, my initial thought was, how can I make sure everyone is a part of this event, then came the idea of patches. I wanted everyone to make their patch that could be added to the marketing for the event. From that idea, I designed the logo to have this randomly put together and look like scrapbooking. The colours are bright and vibrant to show a more playful look. The type is also hand-lettered to aid the scrapbooking look.
The wordmark is just a simplified version of the main logo. The wordmark could be used for stickers or business cards, to ensure a recognizable look while also being simplified.

For the postcard, I continued the look of scrapbooking and patches. I added some variations of patches that were made by students. The postcard gives a bright and energetic look to ensure the invited would be intrigued by the invitation. I added all the essential information. I wanted to keep the same colour just at a lower tint value so the logo and graphics would still be able to stand out.

The poster was going to be the main source of branding for this event so I wanted to make sure that the poster would stand out. I kept the same patch look and colour for the background to ensure a sense of harmony throughout the event. The poster provides a bright look to catch everyone's eyes. The patches from various students are also shown on the poster along with the event details.
Banner
The banner was going to be used as a main wayfinding point for everyone at the event. Keeping the scrapbooking and patched in mind I wanted the banner to be bright and bold. Having the logo large in the center. The various patches are added on the banner as well for an additional pop of colour.
